Nominations are now open for this year's Canadian Lawyer Top 25 Most Influential. By far the most popular feature of the year, the Top 25 celebrates those lawyers and judges who are making an impact on the laws, justice system, legal profession and civil society in Canada and abroad.
We are once again asking readers to let us know who they feel have been the most influential over the last year or so. Here are the categories for 2018:
- Human Rights, Advocacy and Criminal
- Young Influencer (born no earlier than 1978)
To nominate someone, it's as easy as sending an e-mail to Tim Wilbur, Managing Editor of Canadian Lawyer, at firstname.lastname@example.org that includes the nominee's name, firm/organization, the category you're nominating them in, and a few sentences as to why you feel they should be included in the list.
Please keep in mind the Top 25 is not a lifetime achievement award but recognition of lawyers who have been played a significant role in the legal profession and Canadian society in the last year to year and a half. Click here for a list of winners in previous years.
The deadline for Top 25 nominations is end of day April 3. Voting for the nominees to select the final winners will take place between April 30 and May 22.
We look forward to hearing about all the great work worth celebrating.
