In November we brought together a cross-section of leading women in litigation, from private practie and in-house, to talk about how they came into the profession they love and the challenegs and changes they have observed as they have risen to the positions they hold today. They discussed the importance of mentors and how they are trying to pay it forward. They also spoke candidly about the myths around women in litigation that linger in 2018.
In the 12 years Canadian Lawyer InHouse has been conducting its annual general counsel roundtable, we have routinely put questions about external law firm relationships and managing resources internally on the agenda for discussion.
