WSP Global acquiring UK's Built Environment Consulting for $2.4-billion

WSP Global’s $2.4-billion acquisition of the Built Environment consulting business of UK-based energy services firm John Wood Group tops this week’s deals, while Torkin Manes and Cailfee, Halter & Griswold served, respectively, as advisers in the sale of Ontario’s StenTech to Align Capital Partners. Scotiabank and Consilium Partners were also involved in a deal seeing Montreal tech firm Alithya acquiring a US software company for up to $57.5 million.
