    I am surprised at the lack of comment on the impact on the province of BC's forest revenues. Seems likely that they are about to lose half or better of crown forest lands.
    This is a perfect example of what lack of leadership in government can cost you. As to the broken treaty process, its not broken, it was never designed to work. Government has long been in the mode of not "giving" First Nations anything the courts haven't already found to be theirs (and only that when forced) Now the horse is gone from the barn. Will industry pressure force new, real negotiations? Will government be willing to take the flack of the tremendous cost of settlements now that negotiating power has shifted, or will they leave resource companies to do their own deals with First Nations?
