On May 8, 2025, Canadian Tire Corporation and WestJet have announced a long-term strategic partnership to integrate Triangle Rewards with WestJet Rewards, creating a combined loyalty ecosystem across retail and travel. Launching in early 2026, the initiative will enable members of both programs to link accounts and benefit from "stacked rewards"—earning both Canadian Tire Money and WestJet points on purchases at CTC retail banners and WestJet bookings. The collaboration includes accelerated earn rates for those using Triangle or WestJet RBC Mastercards and allows conversion of WestJet points into Canadian Tire Money, increasing redemption flexibility.

This move supports CTC’s True North strategy, which aims to expand the use of Canadian Tire Money through high-impact partnerships. It follows recent collaborations with Petro-Canada (2024) and RBC (2026), expanding Triangle Rewards' member base and everyday use. WestJet, for its part, has recently revamped its rewards program to offer broader earning and redemption options, positioning this partnership as a key expansion into daily spending.
