On May 8, 2026, Entrepreneurial Equity Partners ("e2p"), a private equity firm focused on the food, beverage, and pet industries, acquired Kitchen Partners through its portfolio company, Roskam Foods. Headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, Kitchen Partners manufactures sauces, marinades, dips and soups, and provides custom culinary solutions to some of Canada's largest restaurant chains and retailers. The acquisition strengthens Roskam's capabilities in sauces, marinades and dips, categories benefiting from continued demand growth across restaurant and retail channels. Founded in 1985 and headquartered in Canada, Kitchen Partners manufactures sauces, marinades, dips, soups and related culinary products for Canada's largest restaurant chains and retailers, providing Roskam with complementary production capabilities and expanded exposure to the Canadian market. The transaction is a cross-border carve-out add-on: Kitchen Partners was previously a division of Freshstone Brands Inc. (parent: Homestyle Selections LP). For e2p, which acquired Roskam Baking Company in 2022 and merged it with portfolio company Organic Milling to form the Roskam Foods platform, the Kitchen Partners acquisition advances its strategy of pursuing transformative add-on acquisitions that expand Roskam's manufacturing capabilities and geographic reach into Canada. Financial terms of the transaction were not publicly disclosed.
