In December 2025, Zug, Switzerland-based Partners Group, one of the largest firms in the global private markets industry, closed its US$160 million lead investment in Omie, the São Paulo, Brazil-based cloud-based management software company serving small and medium-sized enterprises. The investment was announced in September 2025. The round was predominantly secondary, providing partial exits for early investors, with a smaller undisclosed primary portion to support Omie's continued growth and product development. All previous Omie investors continued to participate in the round. Omie operates a cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) and financial management platform that connects companies with accounting firms, using consultants to drive software adoption among Brazilian SMEs. Dentons acted as Canadian counsel to Partners Group. Latham & Watkins LLP acted as U.S. counsel to Partners Group. Machado Meyer Advogados acted as Brazilian counsel to Omie, and Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP acted as Canadian counsel to Omie.
