John Greiss

John is Chief Legal Officer at Sentrex Health Solutions, a Canadian specialty pharmacy, distribution, and patient support program provider that partners with pharmaceutical manufacturers to support patients accessing complex therapies across Canada. He leads Sentrex's legal, regulatory, compliance, and corporate governance functions, and provides strategic advice across all areas of the business, with particular focus on regulated pharmacy and distribution operations, privacy, IT and AI governance, enterprise risk, and board and corporate governance.

John brings an uncommon dual background as both a licensed pharmacist and a lawyer, with over 22 years of experience in the sector spanning retail and hospital pharmacy, regulatory bodies, and senior in-house legal roles across the Canadian healthcare ecosystem. His earlier experience in patient care and pharmacy operations with a national retailer enables him to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder issues and deliver practical, innovative solutions for clients and partners in the healthcare sector.

John holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Alberta, and a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto, completed as a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Fellow.

John also serves on the board and various committees of the Neighbourhood Pharmacy Association of Canada and the Aurora Youth Soccer Club.
