Laure Fouin

Laure is Associate General Counsel at Coinbase, where she leads the legal function for Canada and serves as a board member of Coinbase Canada.

Before joining Coinbase, Laure was a partner at McCarthy Tétrault and partner and co-head of the Digital Assets and Blockchain Group at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt, where she practiced securities and banking & finance law for over a decade across traditional and digital financial services.

Laure has served on advisory committees of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) and the Quebec Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), and has held governance board roles at Téluq University and the Site Historique Marguerite Bourgeoys.
