Melissa Reiter is an award-winning executive and leader with a proven track record of building high-performing teams. Since joining Jobber in 2022, Melissa has led, built and scaled Jobber’s legal function to support one of Canada’s fastest growing tech companies. With over 15 years in the legal industry and over 10 years experience building and leading legal departments, Melissa has a reputation for leveraging technology to maximize departmental efficiency. She is known for providing balanced and practical legal advice. Melissa’s background includes deep and extensive international experience overseeing all aspects of legal strategy for high growth and dynamic organizations. Melissa began her career working for large firms in Toronto and New York and as in-house counsel to a private equity firm with a diverse portfolio of recognized consumer brands and technology, gaming and social media companies. Prior to joining Jobber, Melissa built and led the legal team at G Adventures, a global travel and hospitality company with operations in over 100 countries. While at G Adventures she advised on numerous M&A transactions and key brand partnerships including National Geographic and the Jane Goodall Institute.
