Rosie Kogan

Rosie Kogan is General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer at Medcan. A trusted advisor with nearly two decades of experience, she brings to Medcan deep legal, privacy, and dispute resolution expertise across public and private organizations in the health benefits, health services, and well-being sectors.

Prior to joining Medcan, Rosie was General Counsel at GreenShield, where she led the transformation of its legal and compliance functions during a pivotal shift to an integrated health benefits and services model. Her ability to combine strategic vision with practical execution earned her national recognition as a finalist for the General Counsel of the Year Awards in the Innovation category.

Rosie began her career in commercial litigation and held progressively senior legal roles at Morneau Shepell/LifeWorks. She holds a law degree from Western University, a journalism degree from Toronto Metropolitan University, the Certified In-House Counsel (CIC.C) designation through the Rotman School of Management’s Leadership Program for In-House Counsel and has completed Queen’s University’s AI and the Law Intensive.
