Dentons names Nicholas Park as non-executive chair of the global board

The global board and global advisory committee of Dentons have voted Nicholas Park as non-executive chair of the global board. Park joined Dentons in 2020, following Dentons’ combination with Lee International in South Korea.

Park is a member of Dentons’ global board, leader of the firm’s South Korea region and senior foreign legal counsel at Dentons Lee. He will assume the role of non-executive chair of the global board effective immediately and will serve for a term expiring November 9, 2025.

“As we continue to help clients achieve their goals and navigate some of the most complex business and legal challenges, it is critical that we remain focused on driving our firm's strategy," said Elliott Portnoy, Global CEO of Dentons. "I am delighted to welcome Nicholas to the role of non-executive chair of the global board.”

In his role, Park will preside over meetings of the global board, the global advisory committee and the General Assembly of the Verein ensuring that all bodies comply with their responsibilities, applicable laws and regulations.

"As the world’s largest global law firm, Dentons has demonstrated the ability to stay ahead of changing client needs in a period of transformation," said Park. "Our deeply local knowledge across every continent gives us a unique advantage to advance our clients’ business needs. I am delighted to assume the role of non-executive chair and to support Elliott and members of our global board from around the world as we continue to put our clients at the center of everything we do."
