Lucy Munro becomes a member of the firm's global business services leadership
Hogan Lovells has announced the appointment of Lucy Munro as the firm’s global chief people officer, effective January 4, 2024.
The firm’s current chief people officer Kay Willis will be stepping down at the end of the year.
Based in London, England, Munro has been with the firm for 16-years, serving in a number of different leadership roles in that time – as head of HR for Asia-Pacific from 2010-2017, head of HR for UK and Africa from 2017-2020, and most recently as HR director for EMEA.
“Lucy’s appointment is a great example of seeing our people growing their careers at our firm,” said Miguel Zaldivar, CEO of Hogan Lovells. “She has been a core member of Kay’s leadership team for over 10-years and I am delighted that she will be moving into this important global role for the firm and that she will become a member of our global business services leadership team.

Willis will stay on at the firm as senior HR consultant. The people team function at Hogan Lovells includes the HR, recruitment, talent, learning & development, culture, leadership development and wellbeing teams, and also oversees all of the firm’s HR systems and processes.
