Reed Smith adds trademark and brand protection partner in California, US

Reed Smith has hired Marjorie W. Norman as a partner in the intellectual property practice, based in the Century City office in California, US. She joins the firm from Willkie Farr & Gallagher, where she was a partner in its intellectual property department.

Norman’s practice focuses on helping high-profile individuals and leading brands obtain and protect their intellectual property through domestic and international trademark preparation and prosecution, including portfolio strategies, licensing, clearance, and opposition and cancellation proceedings. She also counsels clients on intellectual property issues in connection with corporate transactions, including ownership structuring, asset transfers, and portfolio review and expansion in preparation for acquisition.
