Babin Bessner Spry LLP, Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP, Stikeman Elliott LLP, Torkin Manes LLP, and Fogler, Rubinoff LLP made appearances in commercial list matters this week.

This week’s most notable commercial case was the $202-million case Cerieco Canada Corp. v Mizrahi et al. Babin Bessner Spry partner Cynthia Spry advised plaintiff Cerieco Canada Corp. S. Mizrahi and 11 other defendants appeared to be unrepresented.

The next most notable commercial case was the $20.5-million case Vaultose Digital Asset Services Inc. v Kunz et al. Babin Bessner Spry associate Daniel Babin acted for plaintiff Vaultose Digital Asset Services Inc. T. Kunz and six other defendants appeared to be unrepresented.

A third notable commercial case was the $16.6-million case Ang v Second Closet Incorporated et al. Lawyer F. Scott Turton represented plaintiff D. Ang. Advocan Law LLP partner Gabriel Latner advised Mark Ang Holdings Inc. and one other defendant. Lenczner Slaght partner Matthew Lerner acted for defendant Second Closet Incorporated.
