Fasken, Stikeman Elliott, TGF act in multimillion-dollar commercial cases

Chaitons, Dickinson Wright, Fasken Martineau DuMoulin, Gardiner Roberts, Gowling WLG, Lenczner Slaght, Lipman Zener Waxman, and Thornton Grout Finnigan recently made appearances in three or more commercial list matters.

A notable commercial suit was the $500-million case Bondfield Construction Company Limited, Through Its Litigation Trustee, Terrence O'Sullivan v Deloitte LLP et al. Stikeman Elliott LLP senior counsel Peter Howard represented plaintiff Bondfield Construction Company Limited. Thornton Grout Finnigan LLP founding partner John Finnigan advised defendant Deloitte LLP. Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP partner Sarah Armstrong acted for defendant PricewaterHouseCoopers LLP.

Another notable commercial suit was the $350-million case Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. v Deloitte LLP et al. Howard represented plaintiff Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. He focuses on commercial litigation, including securities law, class actions, and contracts. Finnigan advised defendant Deloitte LLP. Fasken partner Kimberly Potter acted for defendant PricewaterHouseCoopers LLP.

Thornton Grout Finnigan LLP appeared in five cases.
