Minden Gross, Gaertner Baron act in commercial case worth over $6 million

Lawyers working at Davies, Dentons, Lenczner Slaght, McMillan, Reconstruct, and Torys made appearances in multiple commercial list matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice within the last two weeks.

One notable commercial suit was the $6,793,070.44 case Royal Bank of Canada v 1438706 Ontario Limited et al. Minden Gross LLP partner Rachel Moses advised plaintiff Royal Bank of Canada. Her practice focuses on banking and commercial litigation.

Arie Gaertner, principal at Gaertner Baron Professional Corporation, acted for 1438706 Ontario Limited and one other defendant. He is a corporate and commercial litigator. A third defendant appeared to be unrepresented.

Another notable commercial suit was the $3,888,788 case Diversified Capital Inc. v Trans-land Properties Inc. et al. Robins Appleby LLP partner Dominique Michaud advised plaintiff Diversified Capital Inc. He handles commercial disputes such as matters involving bankruptcy, insolvency, receiverships, the enforcement of creditors’ rights, and remedies.
