Cain Lamarre has brought in trademark agent Julie Larouche as a partner to strengthen its intellectual property offering.
In addition to intellectual property, Larouche brings experience in entertainment law, consumer protection law, and advertising and marketing law. She focuses on matters related to the Charter of the French Language and liquor licensing in Québec.

Larouche is joined by a team of four – Clara Martel, Gabrielle Ghaly, Étienne Nadeau, and Geneviève Barsalou.
Like Larouche, Martel has experience in entertainment law, intellectual property law, consumer protection law, and advertising and marketing law, with a focus on liquor licensing matters. She has helped protect the rights of artists, agencies and businesses, drafted contracts, negotiated rights, and ensured compliance in promotional campaigns. She was admitted to the Québec Bar in 2017.
Ghaly concentrates on trademark law, consumer protection law, and advertising and marketing law. She has assisted clients with trademark registration, monitoring, and protection, managing and coordinating international portfolios. She was admitted to the Québec Bar in 2023.
Nadeau is a trademarks and entertainment law specialist. He has helped clients to protect their IP assets in relation to availability and commercialization. In 2022, he was admitted to the Québec Bar.

She helps artists, companies and organizations to draft contracts and oversee legal matters related to music, entertainment, television, and publishing. She is an expert on the North American and French markets who was admitted to the Québec Bar in 2003.
“The arrival of Julie Larouche and her team is a great addition to our firm. Beyond strengthening our expertise in intellectual property, they will enable us to add entertainment, advertising and marketing law to our range of services,” Cain Lamarre president Yvan Bujold said in a statement.
