Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP has announced the election of Neil Kravitz – who has co-headed Fasken’s cross-border and international practice and Montreal corporate group – as the new firm managing partner as of Jan. 1, 2027.

According to Fasken’s news release, Kravitz will work on driving the firm’s growth in his new role and helping clients navigate the increasingly complicated global business landscape.

“We are confident that his strategic vision and business-focused approach will help strengthen our ability to support our clients’ success across all the markets in which we operate,” said Marie-Josée Neveu, chair of Fasken’s partnership board.

Neveu congratulated Kravitz on his election and expressed gratitude to his predecessor, Clarke Barnes, for his commitment and leadership since his appointment to the position in 2025.

While helming the firm, Barnes devoted efforts to advancing Fasken’s strategic priorities, cementing its market position, and supporting innovation across the firm.
