Andrea Wood: As Chief Legal & Governance Officer of TELUS and a member of TELUS’ Executive Leadership Team, Andrea oversees TELUS’ cross enterprise legal team. She is a fervent advocate for sustainability, good governance and transparent financial and non-financial disclosure, enabling TELUS’ global leadership in social capitalism. She is Vice Chair of the Greater Toronto Area Community Board of the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation and has just completed an 8 year stint as executive sponsor for Connections – the TELUS women’s network.

Outside of TELUS, Andrea is an enthusiastic volunteer.  She serves on the Canadian Lawyer Editorial Board, is a member of Partners in Art and is also on the Advisory Committee of the Portrait Gallery for Canada. Recognized by Chambers Canada as a GC Influencer and a member of the GC Powerlist, she participates enthusiastically in a number of industry initiatives, including through her service on the Executive Committee of Legal Leaders for Diversity. She is also a past Director and Vice-chair of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Ontario Trillium Foundation and past President of the Empire Club of Canada and the Vancouver Opera.
