Dentons Canada

Dentons has announced that Marie-Andrée Thibault joined as a partner in the firm’s real estate group in Montreal. Thibault has over 15 years of experience as a trusted advisor to clients in the real estate sector. Her practice encompasses real estate developments, acquisitions, sales, and financings, with specific expertise in energy, mining, and infrastructure projects.

Robert T. O’Neill has joined the firm’s Edmonton office as a partner in the litigation, arbitration, and investigations group. O’Neill is a senior litigator with an extensive background in civil litigation matters. He has represented clients at all levels of courts in Alberta and appeared before administrative ‎‎boards and tribunals on a broad range of civil ‎litigation ‎matters. His practice covers personal injury matters, ‎corporate and ‎commercial disputes, employment issues, ‎construction and condominium disputes, ‎estate litigation ‎, and insurance matters.

McLennan Ross LLP

McLennan Ross has welcomed partners Clay Jacobson and Gillian Holowisky to the firm’s Calgary office. Jacobson specializes in commercial litigation, encompassing disputes with counterparties, competitors, debtors and creditors, service providers and suppliers. He has represented clients in many sectors, including energy, renewables, mining, manufacturing, commercial leasing, and transportation.

Holowisky specializes in insurance defence, commercial litigation, and condominium law. She has handled complex personal injury claims involving fatalities, serious injuries, and liability or legal causation issues.

McMillan’s Vancouver office has welcomed associates Lyndie Charlton, Navaneeth Ravichandran, and partner Katherine Akladios.
