Charity basketball game helps feed the hungry

Students and faculty from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and Osgoode Hall Law School hit the court on Nov. 21 for the annual Black and Blue Charity Basketball Game.

The event was organized by Osgoode’s Legal and Literary Society, and the University of Toronto Students' Law Society. It was held at the Air Canada Centere in downtown Toronto, just hours before the Raptor’s took to the floor for their evening game against the New Jersey Nets.

The U of T team beat Osgoode with a final score of 30-19. The faculty teams, who held a three-on-three game during halftime, saw U of T profs win again, by a score of 6-2.

Everyone came out ahead though, as the event raised $10,000 for Toronto’s Lawyers Feed the Hungry program.
